Sustainable Production Leadership, Built on Military Discipline and High-Stakes Operational Experience.
I’m Charlie Parks - a Sustainable Event Production Strategist specialising in reducing the environmental footprint of large-scale corporate and public-sector events by 30-60% without sacrificing quality, reliability, or creative ambition.
I don’t “coordinate” events.
I engineer them.
I bring military-level logistics, strategic clarity, and sustainability systems that eliminate waste, reduce risk, and deliver events that are both environmentally responsible and operationally flawless.
From the Royal Air Force to High-Stakes Event Leadership
Before entering the events industry, I served as a Weapon Systems Operator (WSOp) and Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the Royal Air Force.
That career shaped the principles I now apply to event production:
Precision under pressure
Zero margin for error
Systematic planning
Team leadership in complex environments
Accountability at every level
Operational discipline
These aren’t “nice-to-haves” in the events world - they’re the difference between chaos and certainty.
Between waste and efficiency.
Between environmental claims and actual environmental impact.
When I left the RAF, I transitioned into large-scale corporate event production, managing logistics, supplier teams, budgets, and operations for some of the most demanding live environments.
It became obvious:
sustainability wasn’t integrated - it was bolted on.
And organisations were paying the price in waste, inefficiency, and reputation risk.
So I rebuilt the model.
Sustainability is not an aesthetic - it’s an operational discipline.
Most people treat sustainability as:
marketing language,
recycled materials,
“eco-friendly” suppliers,
or a decorative afterthought.
That’s not sustainability.
That’s optics.
Real sustainability is:
logistics consolidation
vehicle reduction
energy-efficient AV & staging
waste elimination
verified supply chains
carbon modelling
compliance-aligned documentation
systems that reduce impact without reducing quality
This is where my military background becomes an asset:
I don’t guess. I calculate.
I don’t hope. I plan.
I don’t “greenwash.” I engineer measurable outcomes.
If an event can be improved, streamlined, or redesigned to reduce its footprint - I will find the path and control it.
Who I Work With
I work with organisations that cannot afford environmental mistakes or operational uncertainty:
Corporate conferences
Government departments
Councils
Universities
Public-sector bodies
Institutional organisations
These clients choose me because their events must:
meet ESG targets
withstand scrutiny
run flawlessly
reduce environmental impact
deliver strong creative output
avoid logistical chaos
report data credibly
They don’t hire me for “green vibes.”
They hire me for results, reliability, and compliance.
Systematic. Strategic. Sustainable.
My process is simple:
Audit
Analyse footprint, risk, inefficiencies, waste, and supplier alignment.Blueprint
Engineer a production system designed to reduce impact by 30-60%.Execute
Lead the full sustainable production workflow - logistics, suppliers, AV, on-site direction, reporting.
This approach has allowed clients to dramatically reduce their environmental impact while improving quality, consistency, and operational flow.
Why My Clients Trust Me
Military-level planning discipline
Sustainability expertise grounded in real operations
Proven ability to reduce footprint without compromising production
Practical, measurable, compliant systems - not theory
Calm leadership in high-pressure environments
Supplier networks aligned with sustainability goals
Transparent, data-driven reporting
This combination is rare.
And it’s why clients bring me into their highest-visibility, highest-risk events.
